Jeremy Davies: Cpl. Timothy P. Upham
Set during the D-Day
invasion of Nazi occupied France, this is a harrowing and up close look
at the horrors of war. A group of US soldiers are gathered together and
sent on a mission to find a Private James Ryan, whose brothers were all
killed in combat, and have him return home safely. Jeremy Davies plays
Corporal Timothy Upham, an Army interpreter sent along to assist the
soldiers to find Private Ryan. In arguably one of Davies' most
memorable performances, the inexperienced Upham suddenly finds himself
painfully facing the ugly realities of combat. .
