The Florentine (1999)
Jeremy Davies: Truby
This movie follows a group
of five close friends in a small blue-collar Pennsylvania town. One of
the friends, Whitey, owns a bar called the Florentine where they all
gather regularly. As the wedding of Whitey's sister approaches, the
friends go through various crises including woman troubles, financial
troubles, con men, and local gangsters. Jeremy Davies gives a strong
performance as the peppery Truby who falls for the wrong woman.
